My name is Adam Royce and as Diving officer I monitor all diving activities within the club and are responsible for ensuring that safe diving practices are adhered to.
In addition, I will also sign off the various stages of diving qualifications as you progress through the training, this is done in conjunction with the Instructors guiding you.
We welcome anyone from other diving organisations wanting to cross-over, however I may ask you to undergo a couple of sessions in the pool to give me an idea of your various competencies and possibly take in a couple of our lectures e.g. diving tables. If many of your previous dives have been carried out in blue water we may ask you to do some shakedown dives in home waters with one of our Instructors/Dive leaders.
Normally once these have been undertaken we are happy to cross you over at the equivalent level to your previous qualification for a different agency.
